Born to a West-African father and Belgian mother, Brooke Bailey discovered deejaying in late 2008. Her first gigs included opening for then hugely popular acts such as Brick & Lace and Kevin Lyttle. After a long hiatus, she landed a residency in NOXX, one of Belgium’s most celebrated clubs, allowing her to perform alongside superstars such as Young Thug and Ace Hood. After showcasing her deejay talent during one of the beauty pageants she competed in she discovered her love for Afrobeats. The genre became her way to display the love she has for her African heritage.

In addition to releasing numerous collaborations with musicians like Ckay, Pappy Kojo, and YKB, Brooke has performed in 38 countries across 4 continents alongside well-known Afrobeats performers like Davido, Ckay and Wizkid.

In addition to her work as a deejay, Brooke became the first Afrobeats curator on SiriusXM in 2021. She has since grown into the go-to Afrobeats deejay and personality on SiriusXM as she simultaneously curates Bob Marley’s “Tuff Beats channel” and hosts “The Tuff Beats TakeOver” on Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong radio. Aside this she also hosts “Soundgasm” a bi-weekly mixshow on Drake’s Sound42. Both shows are aimed at familiarising SiriusXM’s 35 million subscribers with Afrobeats.

As part of the Tuff Beats TakeOver Brooke has interviewed a multitude of artists ranging from Davido, Kizz Daniel, Tiwa Savage, Fireboy and Rema to Ckay, Sarkodie and Rotimi.

Boasting and impressive 275k followers on Tiktok and over 100k followers on Instagram, Brooke is a powerhouse to be reckoned with.
